Most companies know the strengths and weaknesses of their products or services and don't necessarily want to discuss these issues with current law enforcement because they may already be or could be customers. These companies still need the valuable experience of the "law enforcement viewpoint"; therefore, having discussions and consultations with former law enforcement, they can "candidly" and "frankly" discuss their products or services without feeling threatened by loss of business.

Former law enforcement veterans can give company sales personnel invaluable information about which people they should approach in current county, state and federal administrations who would be the best people to present their offer to. As most people in the law enforcement community know, the industry is a very tight community where current and former law enforcement veterans stay in good contact with each other. It is now clear to many that to really get the best sales information and a real sense of what is happening on the ground, it is important to contact and work with former law enforcement.

The law enforcement community is a group built on trust. If a company has a good product or service, they can greatly speed up sales by working with former law enforcement veterans who can personally introduce company representatives to current law enforcement personnel and establish a much higher level of immediate trust by doing so. This sales benefit is immeasurable.

Because of these factors, more and more companies are actively seeking out the guidance, counsel and experience of former law enforcement veterans to assist them in marketing their products or services.

The Former Law Enforcement Network

The RC&A Group, Inc. (RCAG) has long been involved in providing services to law enforcement. RCAG provided telecommunications services to correctional facilities and part of our success was the utilization of former law enforcement veterans. RCAG is now building and assembling a network of hundreds of former law enforcement professionals (federal, state and local) who will be linked by a common web site exchange. RCAG will be responsible for researching, investigating and choosing potential products and services that can be offered to federal, state and local agencies. RCAG will present these products and services to the members of the law enforcement exchange who will be asked to provide comments, advice and recommendations as concerns the various offers under review. If there is broad agreement from the majority of the members about a given offer, RCAG will negotiate a marketing agreement with the product or service provider. The members of the exchange will then be able to participate in the marketing of that offer. Members can contribute to this process as follows:

• Act as a referral source for business by introducing the company to
specific federal, state and county law enforcement entities and personnel.

• Act in the capacity of a paid consultant when the opportunity arises.

• Suggest or bring to the exchange their own products or services.

Whatever the case, the member who participates in any capacity, which results in a sale, will receive significant and ongoing compensation.

Your Work Hours Are Up to You

What RCAG is not proposing is that each member comes back to a full time job. As a referral source, one is only required to make initial phone calls to the correct contact people "that they know" and establish a sales introduction. If the member chooses to get more involved in the sales process, it is certainly welcome but not required. RCAG is depending not on the hours of work, but on each member's long-term experience, opinion, and contacts. That is what is valuable. This is also a way that the member can leverage his or her long-term track record to augment his or her own retirement income in a large way with only a limited effort required.

How to Get Started

RCAG has already begun attracting companies interested in utilizing the experience, knowledge and skills of our law enforcement network members. If you are interested in moving forward, we will send out a simple form to be filled out and then each new member will get access to the law enforcement exchange site. Each member can review which products and services that he or she are interested in commenting on or representing and notify RCAG. We will then send an instructional email further describing the product and compensation as well as the sales strategy. RCAG also is looking forward to members who have their own products or services that they would like to promote to other members of the exchange. We will use the same process of evaluating a member's product or service as we would with non-members' products or services.

We look forward to working with you and are anxious to hear from you.
